Typical of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, this wine features inviting flavours of passionfruit, cut grass, and grapefruit aromas. This crisp wine has juicy prominent fruit notes and bright acidity.
New Zealand makes seriously excellent wines. Plenty of sunshine, moderate temperatures and strong diurnal variation (warm days and cool nights) are the keys to Marlborough’s piercing fruit intensity, strong varietal expression, and acid retention over long ripening periods.
For food pairing ideas, go green! Sauvignon Blanc has an herbal note that works well with fresh green herb dishes like basil pesto or green hummus. For meat, choose chicken, turkey, or white fish. Sauvignon Blanc is the best pairing for a wide variety of seafood choices, and is especially good with bacon-wrapped scallops.
